Re: Carroll and Sakho seem to be off
None of this makes sense. If you don't play these two, then who in their right mind would pay decent money for either of them?
If reports are to be believed there's no doubt that the pair of them have acted like complete cunts, and I can sympathise with Bilic if he's lost patience with them, but there does seem to be a worrying trend where once he goes off a player then there's no coming back for them.
I think in this situation he has to swallow his pride and once Sakho and Carroll are fit he must give them one more chance. He must realise that if they do the business on the pitch then it's a win, win situation for the club. The team will benefit in terms of performance and results, which will then see their values increase. If they don't play then their values will be fuck all.

Can't see how Bilic falling out with Carroll can explain Carroll's injury record... unless

Re: Carroll and Sakho seem to be off
I don't understand this. Why would you not want to do this job, never mind get paid millions for it?

Hands up who would do this job for GBP10k/week?

J.Riddle 2:24 Sat Oct 29
Re: Carroll and Sakho seem to be off
They are both always injured. Carroll has never gone a run of games before getting a long term injury since he arrived and there is no reason to expect that to improve going forward. Bilic will want to play a settled team so I wouldn't be surprised to see Carroll being used as a sub when he returns. Can see him moving on at a massive loss if any interest, although unlikely.

Sakho's back has gone, if in the unlikely event that he plays for us again without apologising I doubt he will last long before his back goes again. Another that will move on at a massive loss.

Re: Carroll and Sakho seem to be off
It seems that the club have just been lying to us about these two. According to C&H our foreign physio is saying that Sakho is still weeks away from proper action, when 3 or 4 weeks ago we were being told that he'd be in contention for Sunderland/Chelsea/Everton, take your pick.
They really do take us for mugs.

Chigwell 4:03 Sat Oct 29
Re: Carroll and Sakho seem to be off
Get shot of them both. Would rather have players who actually want to play for us.

Re: Carroll and Sakho seem to be off
Hardly groundbreaking news is it...PL manager in not wanting 2 cunts who are always injured shocker.

Your post is cliched bollocks.

Re: Carroll and Sakho seem to be off
The sooner Carroll fucks off the better. He is a continual distraction we cannot afford so we need to cut our losses and move forward with a dependable squad of players.

Private Dancer 7:50 Sat Oct 29
Re: Carroll and Sakho seem to be off
Dicko - Spot on, it is a distraction, as you never know where you are with it all, ie, if to wait again or to finally move on. It's like holding a stock that you are down on blindly hoping it will recover, but in truth you know that it's garbage and you have lost your dough, so better to sell, cut your losses, forget about it and reluctantly move on. Of course we need to find a buyer for this cripple, which won't be easy.

Name your mate and the website he runs. And do let us know why he hasn't run the story on said web site.

But you won't, will you, because it's bull shit.

Re: Carroll and Sakho seem to be off
Carroll wont be easy to sell but there will be someone willing to take a punt if the price is right, and with strikers in short supply and going for massive sums, odds on someone will, my money would be on a desperate Sunderland or Boro seeing as he is from that neck of the woods or even Newcastle who still see him as one of there own, and if Mclaren can get another managers job after what he did to Newcastle Carroll can be sold for a half decent wedge!!!

But im not so sure the Club would want to sell him just yet, although would imagine patience is wearing thin, as per previous post its a load of bollocks, Sakho is different kettle of fish and we all but shifted him in the Summer, so not really news or a shock we may want rid.

Re: Carroll and Sakho seem to be off
The drunk sicknote cunt will end his contract with us. Noone will ever take him on his wages, the useless fucking northern wanker.

The sulky one might have a chance to be included in our team. His talent is up with the best

Re: Carroll and Sakho seem to be off
Riddle - how would moving Sakho on be at a massive loss? We'd still get more than the £2.5m we paid for him

Eerie Descent 11:28 Sat Oct 29
Re: Carroll and Sakho seem to be off
Thing is with Carroll, even after his contract finishes with us, he'll stick get big money somewhere else, as there is always a desperate club will to take a chance on someone with his abilities. We all know he's a crock without the desire to put his career first, but some cunt club will always be desperate enough, sadly.

Hopefully he is right they can both go in January if someone wants to buy them.

From the Treatment Room.

Diafra Sakho has been training all week with the Under-23s in controlled but hard sessions. Diaf is in the final stages of his own pre-season training schedule and he will join the first-team squad next week.
He will train for several weeks with the first team before he will be re-introduced gradually into games.

Sven Roeder 11:43 Sat Oct 29
Re: Carroll and Sakho seem to be off
Diaf?

Didn't we have an injury update on Carroll last week from the club?
Was mainly Bilic sighing and saying WHAT THE FUCK? but was definitely an update.

If SAHKO has done a 'preseason' you'd hope it would be 2 or 3 weeks before he could start playing gradually with the Development squad (starting with 30 or 45 mins).
This update makes it seem like he will need more than that.
Personally I'd like him and Carroll to return and get us through this season and then we start again in the summer .... probably without them , Zaza and Calleri.

Re: Carroll and Sakho seem to be off
That 'update' confirms Sakho will be fit and ready to 'pick' just as the January window opens.

Handy bit of timing my that.....

Re: Carroll and Sakho seem to be off
Intertong so many think we will not be able to get rid of Carroll due to his injury record when Sakho': injury record since he joined is WORSE than carrolls

Sakho has missed more games over the last two and half seasons since he joined than Carroll has

Athletico Easthamico 12:30 Sat Oct 29
Re: Carroll and Sakho seem to be off
Come the January transfer window a few clubs will be desperate so somebody may take a punt on them.

Re: Carroll and Sakho seem to be off
Agree with most that Carroll can piss of, & the sooner the better

With his unprofessional attitude he is out on the piss & taking the piss

Hope we never, ever sign another geordie again. The only decent one to have played for us in the last 50 years was Pop Robson (& he was very decent!) while his namesake Keith had all the same attributes as Carroll

As for Sakho, I don't know the full extent of his "back injury", mental state or training attitude but at least he's not constantly out on the piss, when he's not out crashing cars
